My name is Jeff Van Gyssel. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, and father to 4 children and 1 dog. I love to bike, hike, rock climb, and my motto in life is to love God and love my neighbour.

My name is Natalie Van Gyssel. I am a wife to Jeff and mother of 4. I love chocolate, music, numbers and Jesus; not necessarily in that order. I’m always excited to see where God leads JWC. His plans are bigger than ours and I feel blessed to be part of the journey.
Jessica Van Es
Office Manager
My name is Jess Van Es. I’m married to a wonderful man and a stepmom to two teenage girls. I’m a very relational person and love the community environment that is part of JWC’s culture. In my spare time I enjoy baking, gardening, reading, and building relationships in our neighbourhood.
David McLagan
Chief Estimator and Project Manager
My name is David McLagan and I am the father to three amazing daughters. I have spent the last 18 years on the Design and Engineering side and I am excited to have joined the JWC team to work on the other side of the construction industry. I enjoy all things construction but in my spare time you’ll find me on my mountain bike, hiking, woodworking or spending time with my family.

I am a blessed daughter of the King, trying to be salt and light on this earth! Im Brazilian and I have a beautiful family, my husband and little son. I am passsionate about learning new things and I’ve built my career in serveral areas (logistics, sales, HR). However, my true vocation has always been about processes, teams, and above all-people! So I’m very glad and enthusiastic to work with this amazing team! In my free time I love travelling, cooking, training and being surrounded by family and friends.

Adam Vandersleen, RSE

My name is Adam Vandersleen and I’m a Christian, a carpenter, and a newer member of the JWC team. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to learn and grow in my role here. I’ve been married to my wife Diane since 2010 and we have been blessed with three wonderful children who keep us on our toes! Things I enjoy doing include building/DIY projects, singing/choir, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, camping, traveling, hiking, & biking.

My name is Les Varga. I am the middle sibling to an older sister and younger brother. Now 58 years young, I found the love of my life and am excited about what the future holds! I enjoy cooking, being active, DIY projects, camping outdoors, and anything on or in the water. As I work for JWC, I hope to pass along my years of experience in construction to my fellow coworkers

Hi! My name is Joseph. My background is Korean, however, I was born in Canada and raised in the United States. I’m a husband to my best friend and a a father to two young boys and a dog. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors and indoors: exploring, travelling, biking, hiking, and relaxing at home over a movie, book or our favourite shows. I’m also a huge foodie! Happy to be a part of the JWC team and to be a part of what God is doing through JWC.

Hi my name is Doug Skuse. I am a journeyman carpenter since 1992 and I’ve been in the construction industry for over 36 years. I love all levels of building. I am currently married to my high school sweetheart, Holly. Once together for our teenage years, we reunited 20 years later in 2011. We have 4 adult children between us and 5 amazing grandchildren. In 2022 we left the city of Hamilton for South Bruce Peninsula (Oliphant) to fulfill my dream of building our home from design to completion and after a year and a half, we are finally settled in. We are so grateful for the amazing journey and feel blessed. We now enjoy life at the beach, the fresh air and beauty of The Bruce, and our family and friends visit often. Life is an adventure and I’m happy to be on my next one with JWC.

My name is Josiah Veurink and I am married to my wife, Faith, and have 2 sons, Will and Ryan. I believe God calls us to be good stewards. The way I love to do this is by restoring things to their original beauty and by creating new and useful things. I look forward to doing more of this with JWC.
