Ron and I just wanted to express our appreciation to you and your team for the incredible job that was done on our basement renovation. The results are even better than we expected; it feels like we’re in a different house! We especially wanted to tell you how impressed we were with the work done by Henok, Bahae, and Kelvin. After the first two days of the job where they had to take apart all that stone and carry it up the steps to the driveway, I’m surprised they had the energy to come back the next day. But they did! They put in a full day of work every day until the job was done and every part of the job they did, they did with excellence. We have had fantastic experiences working with Jeff Van Gyssel and Just Working Construction over the past 3 years. With each project, they have been professional and the work has been to the highest design standard. In recent years, they have been pioneering Passive House construction in Ontario. Together, we have worked on several projects.

With each project, they have put a great a great work ethic and level of quality to the project. Construction has generally been on time and on budget. As the architects on these projects, we have had a very positive working relationship with Just Working. They have been good listeners and team players, and that alone shows me that they have the abilities to work on larger projects.

We have worked with several of the different team members and site superintendents with Just Working, all with positive experiences. On a personal note, I really appreciate the values of the company to include newcomers to Canada and others who may have a harder time getting into the workforce. We wish Just Working luck in growing into larger and more complex commercial construction sector, and hope to continue being able to work together on these projects.

Jeff and his team did an amazing job with our renovation. We did a full gut of the main floor. He has great attention to detail and goes above and beyond.

A great group of guys! Friendly, hard-working, and on time! We brought them in towards the end of our renovation to restore the trim in our 1930’s home in the East Ward in Kitchener. They did an impeccable job and were very enthusiastic about the project. We have found that not all contractors understand the value of older homes but Jeff and his guys have a passion for restoring older buildings. Wish we had stumbled across Just Working earlier on in our renovation!

We were recommended Jeff and his team by a friend and we could not be happier. Jeff came to our home talked about our vision for the house and offered many suggestions that helped improve our initial design. We needed architectural drawings and they were able to recommend a great company that was very budget friendly. We set a schedule and were ready to renovate. Then Covid-19 started and everything was delayed by the city. Jeff was ontop of the crisis and was able to offer updates so we could begin as soon as possible. Once we started his crew was on time, very friendly, and cleaned every night prior to leaving. I was very impressed by his crew. The job lasted 2 months and were are more then happy with the results. We opened up walls and added beams to support the house. We rerouted plumbing and added pot lights throughout the main floor, and we reworked the original stairs in the home to be safer for our children. The team was great and we came in UNDER Budget!!! I would highly recommend Jeff and his team for a home renovation.

Jeff and his team at Just Working did an excellent job renovating our commercial storefront in Hamilton, ON. They were on time and on budget and a great group to have on our property. The attention to detail was top notch and when other subcontractors failed to deliver the level of quality anticipated Jeff made sure that the sub trade made it right.
