Paisley Mill

This 150 year old, all wood building in Paisley is the largest heritage grist mill in Ontario. Just Working Construction turned this historic building into a 3-part residence for short term rentals, friends and family to stay, while keeping the heritage of the building intact. The main section of the building includes 5 stories of beautifully renovated and repurposed rooms for people to stay in. Attached to this building is a 1.5 story residence for the owners of the mill. To the right of the main building, there is another 3-story building.

The Mill’s owners valued preserving and celebrating its history. Old machinery and structures were repurposed into functional pieces. For example, the kitchen island was created using an existing flour sifter in the room, and a silo was repurposed into a beautiful shower!
